Join Tina and Maryanne for some new Adventures with the Twisted Sisters! We'll have a great time playing with herbs and doing some serious learning along the way. Our Spring 2012 classes will be held in the workshop at Frog Hollow (check froghollowevergreens.com for driving directions). All classes will take place between 1 and 3 pm on Saturday afternoons.
Class size is limited to 10, so attendees must pre-register and pre-pay.
48 hour notice prior to classes is required for a refund.
April 28 Weeds for Food and Medicine
Depending on the weather, this class might run long. We'll go out into the woods and around the farm to locate and identify several useful herbs that can be eaten or used in remedies. Although it is early, we should be able to
find at least 10 or 15 very important herbs to talk about and nibble. We'll gather in the field, and then decide
from there what we'd like to make. We will make a tincture, certainly. We'll also discuss various ways of
preserving/drying the herbs that are growing, since in another few weeks there will be so much abundance!
